You drop your guitar off to the store to have minor repairs, & they tell you it'll be a minimum of a week.
One day, I decided -

I bought every bit of literature I could get my hands on ,took some classes, & started
to work on my own gear.

Electric Guitar Set-up: $35
includes; strings, adjust Truss Rod if needed, polish frets, set intonation,
adjust action, pick-up adjustments, clean instrument.
Bass Set-up: $30 + string cost.( includes same as above.)
Electronics:
repair any connection that has gone bad, complete rewire, potentiometer, switch, etc. replacement.
Install new pick-ups, various pick-up mods etc.
Electronics work is charged by the hour w/ a $20.00 minimum charge
(time is money).
Misc: Replace worn nut, replace tuning machines, etc.
Acoustic Guitar Service:
Set-up: $25 includes strings, adjust Truss Rod if needed, polish frets, clean
instrument, correct nut and/or saddle height if needed.
Install endpin jacks.
Repair electrical problems on
electric/acoustics.
Fret Repairs / Complete Refrets.
Level , Crown , Polish (to a mirror shine) $85.00
includes; set
up & strings.
Complete Refrets start @ $180.00.
Custom Guitar / speaker cables.
Don't replace the old ones - let me fix 'em for ya !
